Neurodivergent affirming therapy
Supportive counseling for individuals who identify as neurodivergent or are beginning to question whether ADHD or autism may be part of their experience, offering understanding, guidance, and referrals for testing when needed.

Understanding your experience in a different way
Many people grow up sensing that they experience the world differently, but they may be unable to articulate it. You may have recently been diagnosed with ADHD or with autism, or you have started to question whether neurodivergence might be the reason behind some of your lifetime experiences.
As someone who was personally diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I understand the significance of having a therapist who is not only understanding but respectful of neurodivergence. Together, we can explore how these experiences could have shaped your relationships, self-image, and emotional well-being.
If you want to determine whether you have ADHD or autism, I can also assist you in connecting with a reliable professional who will conduct formal assessments and diagnostic tests.

Why Neurodivergent Affirming Therapy?
Knowing that you may be neurodivergent can lead to relief and unanswered questions. Therapy provides a nonjudgmental environment to explore your experiences, analyze the past challenges, and create strategies that work with your mind rather than against it.
If you’re curious about exploring this support, we can begin with a 15-minute consultation.

How I help my clients
I approach neurodivergent clients affirmatively. Instead of stressing on what feels “different”, we strive to comprehend how your mind receives information, emotions and social experiences.
During our sessions, we can discuss the ways in which the past environment, your school life or relationships shaped who you are today. Many people who discover their neurodivergence later in life carry years of confusion or self-criticism that deserve thoughtful attention.
My goal is to help you better understand your experiences while building practical ways to navigate daily life with more clarity and confidence.

Frequently asked questions
Do you provide in-person sessions?
No, I am virtual only, which allows me to see anybody in the entire state of Texas. I use a secure HIPAA-compliant EHR platform called Simple Practice for our video calls.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I accept insurance. I work with a billing company called Alma. You will have to visit the portal and upload your documents. Next, they will verify your insurance and notify you about the expected price.
You can learn more information about which insurances are accepted here: Rates and Insurance
Do you also prescribe medications?
No. As a therapist, I don’t prescribe medications. However, I can work along with medical experts if required.
What does neurodivergent-affirming therapy mean?
It means therapy that recognizes neurological differences, such as ADHD or autism and works to support your strengths rather than trying to change who you are.
Can therapy help if I think I might have ADHD or autism?
Yes. Therapy can help you explore your experiences and determine whether seeking a formal assessment might be helpful.
Do you provide ADHD or autism diagnoses?
I do not provide formal diagnoses, but I can offer referrals to professionals who specialize in ADHD and autism assessments.
Is it common to be diagnosed later in life?
Yes. Many adults receive diagnoses after recognizing patterns in their experiences that were not identified earlier.
Can therapy help with focus or organization challenges?
Yes. Sessions often include practical strategies that support attention, structure, and daily functioning.
What if I’m unsure whether I’m neurodivergent?
That’s completely okay. Therapy can be a place to explore those questions thoughtfully and at your own pace.
How do I begin?
The first step is usually a brief consultation where we talk about what you’re experiencing and what kind of support might help.

Ready When You Are

“Reaching out takes courage, and you’ve already taken the first step by looking for help.”
You don’t need to have everything figured out. This is simply the next step toward getting support that’s thoughtful, respectful, and grounded in real work. If you’re ready, we’ll begin with a free 15-minute consultation to talk about what you’re looking for and how I can help.
You don’t have to do this alone.
