Ketamine assisted psychotherapy
Supportive therapy for individuals wanting to begin the unique journey of using ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, who want guidance, reflection, and emotional support while navigating their healing journey.

Support while navigating your ketamine journey
As a trauma-informed mental health therapist, I love seeing that Ketamine treatment is becoming a more widely known option for people who have reached a crossroads in their struggles with depression, PTSD, and anxiety. Many people who are considering ketamine are fed up with experiencing years of medication resistance and traditional therapy modalities. Whether you are new to ketamine treatment or have had previous psychedelic experiences, it can be helpful to have a therapist who can walk you through this process.
I am a Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist trained by Journey Clinical and truly believe in the healing power of ketamine. I have also made sure to go through my own ketamine journey to have a better understanding of what my clients will experience. This personal and professional insight allows me to effectively support individuals seeking ketamine therapy and guide them through each stage of the process with care and clarity. These sessions take place virtually and are aimed at helping you reflect on the emotional, psychological, and personal insights that may be experienced during your course of treatment.
Sometimes, ketamine opens the door to powerful thoughts, memories, or even feelings. Therapy is a space to explore those experiences gently and bring what they may mean for your path of recovery.

How I help my clients
Ketamine experiences can surface complex thoughts and emotions that are difficult to process alone, particularly for those with deep-rooted trauma. The medicine induces a state of neuroplasticity, allowing the brain to form healthier neural pathways and new perspectives. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy capitalizes on this unique “integration window”—typically 24 to 72 hours post-session—to help you solidify these positive mental shifts.
My role is to give you a stable and caring environment in which you can discuss unique visuals, insights, and journaling that may help you get unstuck from lifelong negative beliefs. Depending on your level of progress, continued therapy can also be a valuable option. Working with a therapist helps give a psychedelic experience structure that would otherwise not be there when going through it alone.

Frequently asked questions
Do you provide Ketamine medication?
No. Ketamine treatments are provided by licensed medical providers. My role is to offer psychotherapy that supports clients who are receiving treatment.
What is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy?
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is a combination of ketamine medicine paired with psychotherapy. This ensures that healing is effective and deeper than traditional therapy.
How successful has Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy been in replacing traditional therapy?
Research shows that Ketamine Psychotherapy is treating individuals who have not responded well to traditional therapies. It can accelerate healing by increasing neuroplasticity in the brain at a chemical level compared to traditional talk therapies.
How often will I need to schedule therapy sessions?
This can vary depending on your needs, but many clients schedule sessions within 24-72 hours of their dosing session. Most people do 1-2 ketamine dosing sessions a week, depending on what your provider prescribed you.
Do I need to prepare for my initial session?
We will have a few sessions prior to doing your first ketamine dose to help create a trusting rapport and discuss any issues or concerns about the process, and discuss what your current mental health issue needs are. Not everyone is a good candidate for ketamine, and we want to make sure you would be a good candidate before proceeding.
Is ketamine-assisted psychotherapy done in person?
No, I am virtual only, which allows me to see anybody in the entire state of Texas. I use a secure HIPAA-compliant EHR platform called Simple Practice for our video calls.
Can you recommend a Ketamine provider?
If a client does not currently have a ketamine provider, I can offer trusted recommendations, including providers such as Journey Clinical, BetterU, and Mindbloom, to help you find an option that fits your needs.
Can I talk to a counselor even if I haven’t decided what to do?
Yes. Many people seek counseling specifically because they are unsure about their decision and want a supportive space to talk it through.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I accept insurance. I work with a billing company called Alma. You will have to visit the portal and upload your documents. Next, they will verify your insurance and notify you about the expected price.
You can learn more information about which insurances are accepted here: Rates and Insurance
How do I begin?
We start with a brief consultation where we discuss your current treatment and how therapy may support your experience.
