Anxiety Counseling
Therapy that guides you in understanding your anxiety and provides practical tools to stay calm and centered.

Get your day back in balance.
Right now, it may feel that the world is unraveling into chaos, and you may not know what to do. It’s okay to feel that way; many of my clients begin therapy feeling stressed, mentally overloaded, and unable to relax. We work together to identify the causes of your anxiety and develop effective strategies to help you think more clearly, sleep better, and improve emotional regulation.

If worry, physical tension, or constant restlessness are interfering with your daily life, having a therapist to talk to can help release the burden of carrying your thoughts and feelings.

Does this sound familiar?
Seeking professional assistance is recommended if anxiety lasts for several weeks or longer.
- An ongoing feeling of unease or anxiety.
- Focusing on issues or racing thoughts.
- Difficulty falling or remaining asleep.
- An increase in irritability or difficulty controlling emotions.
- Physical signs can include chest tightness, rapid breathing, or sweating.

Why therapy for anxiety?
Therapy addresses the underlying patterns associated with your symptoms. We work together to regulate the nervous system, modify anxious thought patterns, and develop practical strategies for daily use so that the overwhelming feelings can be managed better.

How I help my clients
Since every person is affected by anxiety in a different way, my approach is collaborative and individualized. We start by comprehending how anxiety manifests itself in your feelings, thoughts, and bodily reactions.
Together, we pinpoint the patterns that sustain anxiety and use research-proven techniques to relax the nervous system and change harmful thought patterns. Sessions are organized, encouraging, and centered on developing useful skills.
Our work is purposefully paced and based on practical application, assisting you in creating tools that you can use outside of therapy to feel more stable, self-assured, and capable of managing stress.

Frequently asked questions
Do you provide in-person sessions?
No, I am virtual only, which allows me to see anybody in the entire state of Texas. I use a secure HIPAA-compliant EHR platform called Simple Practice for our video calls.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I accept insurance. I work with a billing company called Alma. You will have to visit the portal and upload your documents. Next, they will verify your insurance and notify you about the expected price.
You can learn more information about which insurances are accepted here: Rates insurance
Do you also prescribe medications?
No. As a therapist, I don’t prescribe medications. However, I can work along with medical experts if required.
What is the typical duration of therapy?
Therapy durations are 50-53 minutes.
How do I start therapy?
You can start with a 15-minute free consultation where we talk about what you are experiencing and how therapy may help.
What is EMDR?
EMDR is an evidence-based modality that helps your brain process experiences so they feel less intense over time.
You can learn more about EMDR in detail here: EMDR
I have tried therapy before, and it didn’t help. What would be different here?
That’s a valid concern. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and sometimes it takes finding the right approach and the right person. We can talk about what didn’t work before and adjust from there.
What if we are not a good fit?
If we don’t feel like the right fit, it’s okay. I want you to have the right support, even if that means helping you find someone else who feels like a better fit for you.

Ready When You Are

“Reaching out takes courage, and you’ve already taken the first step by looking for help.”
You don’t need to have everything figured out. This is simply the next step toward getting support that’s thoughtful, respectful, and grounded in real work. If you’re ready, we’ll begin with a free 15-minute consultation to talk about what you’re looking for and how I can help.
You don’t have to do this alone.
