Meet Blanca Kleinfall
Maybe you’ve hidden parts of your identity from past therapists, but here with me, you don’t have to do that. My name is Blanca Kleinfall. I’m a bisexual, progressive, non-religious, neurodivergent Latina therapist practicing in this conservative AF Texas state. I share this openly so you can feel safe showing up as your full, authentic self. You deserve a space where your sexual & gender identity, politics, your non-faith-based values, and your authentic self aren’t just tolerated—they are the foundation of our work
I’m not your average therapist who just nods and asks, “How does that make you feel?” in some soft-spoken mousy voice. I’m a down-to-earth and keep it real with you collaborative partner in this journey, but sprinkle some compassion and understanding. I’ve spent over 12 years supporting marginalized communities, from working in a domestic violence/sexual assault shelter, an abortion clinic, and actively working with progressive/liberals and the LGBTQIA+ communities.
Why choose therapy with me
When I was 13 years old, I just knew in my heart that I wanted to help people feel better, and caring was something that came naturally to me, especially as the oldest of 5. I know it’s cheesy, but it’s a dream come true, and in 2020, I opened my own private practice. I truly do love being a therapist, but more importantly, I love getting to the point in my career where I’m confident in who I work best with.
I primarily work with individuals who are:
- Progressive/liberals
- Identify as LGBTQIA+
- Agnostic/atheist or non-religious
- BIPOC/people of color

We’ll work on the real stuff:
- Processing big “T” and little “t” traumas
- Learning boundaries to increase your confidence
- Managing anxiety, depression and PTSD in healthy ways
- Building a life you are happy to live in

When things feel overwhelming, we can work through it together
We can work through what’s been weighing on you, helping you feel clearer, steadier, and in control of your day-to-day life.
How I can help you
Therapy with me is not just about talking through things, but about understanding them in a way that actually helps you move forward.

EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Talk about a game changer! When I started using EMDR with clients, it truly began to change the healing process for them.

Trauma-Informed Care
A safe space to explore and process your experiences. From talking about complicated childhoods to assault to complex grief, your therapist understands the many facets of trauma.

Psychoeducation
Although talk therapy is a must in our journey together, what sets me apart from other therapists is that clients actually learn about the “why and how” of trauma, boundaries, anxiety, gaslighting, and why abuse happens.
My values
Confidentiality
What you share is held with care and respect. This is your space to speak openly.
Creativity
Not every session looks the same. We adapt the process to what you need in that moment.
Compassion
You’ll be met with patience, understanding, and genuine care – without judgment.
Authentic you
You don’t have to filter yourself here. You’re allowed to show up exactly as you are

Frequently asked questions
Do you provide in-person sessions?
No, I am virtual only, which allows me to see anybody in the entire state of Texas. I use a secure HIPAA-compliant EHR platform called Simple Practice for our video calls.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I accept insurance. I work with a billing company called Alma. You will have to visit the portal and upload your documents. Next, they will verify your insurance and notify you about the expected price.
You can learn more information about which insurances are accepted here: Rates – insurance
Do you also prescribe medications?
No. As a therapist, I don’t prescribe medications. However, I can work along with medical experts if required.
What is the typical duration of therapy?
Therapy durations are 50-53 minutes.
What happens if I’ve never attended therapy before?
That’s okay, many of my clients are attending therapy for the first time. I’ll make sure to answer any questions you may have and go at a comfortable pace.
What is EMDR?
EMDR is an evidence based modality that helps your brain process experiences so they feel less intense over time.
You can learn more about EMDR in detail here
I have tried therapy before, and it didn’t help. What would be different here?
That’s a valid concern. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and sometimes it takes finding the right approach and the right person. We can talk about what didn’t work before and adjust from there.
What if we are not a good fit?
If we don’t feel like the right fit, it’s okay. I want you to have the right support, even if that means helping you find someone else who feels like a better fit for you.

Ready When You Are

“Reaching out takes courage, and you’ve already taken the first step by looking for help.”
You don’t need to have everything figured out. This is simply the next step toward getting support that’s thoughtful, respectful, and grounded in real work. If you’re ready, we’ll begin with a free 15-minute consultation to talk about what you’re looking for and how I can help.
You don’t have to do this alone.
